She stated she had no African or Afro-descendant heritage, although never specified if ever she had some remote Balkan, Greek, Jewish or Romani Gypsy ancestry neither. Besides, black slaves in 16th to 19th centuries were imported as far as the remote reaches of the Russian Empire and Prussia, while Polish history spoke about an Afro-British pianist who settled on their country in early 19th century.
Let's not also forget that both Abraham Ganibal and Alexandre Dumas had descendants too all over Europe. We never know what some family secrets and a 23&Me genetic genealogy test may hoists...

Either way, dark skinned Slavs aren't an oddity in Central and Eastern Europe. According their historiographs, early and medieval "full blooded" Slavs used essentially to look like this... no wonder why the latter Nazis hated them.
