This is the shit I don't really understand, and it's completely possible that I missed something. Did the media do her dirty at some point? They reported on her issues, but I never really saw the media go out of its way to tear her down. And now that she's back on the rise, the media seems to be trying to build her up again, and she's fighting them.

I don't know. It seems to me like she's on some Kevin Durant shit, where she thinks the media is only allowed to say good things about her. I can't respect that.
 
I kinda understand the media stance.... but I'm missing something. Which media exactly is she blocking out? She did an interview with NBC yesterday

Why is indoor never televised? Too much competition sports wise during those months?

Oh okay I was trying to figure out how you run for such a short time and then do non competitive activity (not including training) for 95% of the rest of your days

When I ran in high school it was pretty much a year-round thing. We even had to run during summer break.

Yeah but I mean I’m trying to wrap my head around running professionally

I imagine in my mind the runners who actively don’t win big competitions also work for Amazon lol

Even if you do win, you prolly working at Amazon. Unless you have some kind of endorsement deals (and even that might only get you shoes and track fits), you might be lucky to get paid at all. I think you get prize money for certain events, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I had a look and there's prize money for these track events. Shit, At this event Shacarri ran at, you get $5000 for coming in 8th place and up to $70k for gold. Plus, if you set a record, that's an extra $100k in your pocket.

Im taking her stance at face value that if she's acting like that, she has a reason to. And im all for holding grudges and getting revenge
