The beating and violent intimidation makes it potentially federal which is why Showercap might be screwed. Probably the feds wont bother with it because it's some hoodrat shit and presumably didn't lead to a death or grievous injury or a ransom request but they could charge her if they wanted to.

Get out the car and go where? Ya'll act like a chick that's crazy enough to taxi a captive around taking asswhooping breaks at regular intervals isn't crazy enough to chase the captive down and drag her ass back to the car or find her somewhere afterwards and give it to her worse.

No, you're acting like a chick that's scared and weak enough to let another chick do all of the shit that's happening is supposed to somehow flip on a switch and be come Usain Bolt or the Terminator. There is a good chance that she understands that she is too slow to run away and can't fight, so she's just taking her lumps. Hell, for all we know, she already tried to run away when this all started and got caught or tried to fight and got her ass beat.
