Is it because youd want to have a shootout with police if they tried coming after you on some fuck shit? Just curious why they have to be unarmed too in this situation.

All of the times a cop has killed an unarmed civilian is enough of a reason. Plus, if guns are banned from the country there's really no reason for an officer to have one. There's other forms of weapons that can be used on a suspect if necessary.

Make the law for gun possession so extreme it'll make most afraid to take a chance.
