This shit is a rare occurrence. As I said a couple of pages back, there have only been 13 mass shootings in K-12 schools in the last 50 years.

50 years

We came home from 'Nam 48 years ago. That's a long ass time ago. Over 50 million kids went to school today, we know of three that didn't come home. Don't make this shit out to be bigger than what it is to suit your agenda. It's tragic, and no one should have to go through that shit, but don't sit here and lie through your fuckin teeth to make a point and prop up your agendas.

in general, if someone is shot at a school, it's typically some nigga shit, that's always been the case. Gang related, street beef, drug shit... something like that.

That's something that's happened longer than even I've been alive.

FUUUUUUUUHHCK... This is the 3rd time one of them popped up in a mass shooting. Last one was that fucktard shooting at people in a parade (thoguh he didn't get a chance to use it, he had it in his car) and the other was a case in, I believe, Florida where they were able to stop the mass shooting before it happened.

How come you can’t bring loaded guns to gun conventions or NRA meetings that have politicians and Presidents in attendance but you can bring your car with gas and keys to a car convention and be surrounded by thousands of people in a closed building ?

and also this:

The truth sometimes ain't pretty, and we all wish for something different, but at the end of the day, it still stands as the truth "tone deaf" or not.

It is objectively false, though. If this woman did not have access to firearms, it is unlikely she would have been able to cause the damage she did. Firearms make it infinity easier to cause mass casualty events over say a blade. It is true that when a person wants to do bad, they will try to do bad. It is also true that limiting their access to deadlier weapons would limit that ability. In the 10 years before the Port Arthur massacre in Australia there were 12 mass killings with guns, after which they instituted major gun control. In the 27 years since, there's been 3.

In short, the idea that less firearms wouldn't mean less shootings doesn't make sense. I say this as a gunowner. The truth is that the only thing gun enthusiasts have to fall back on is the second amendment. If you want to keep your guys because you like having guns, just say that. Saying that gun control doesn't limit gun deaths is counterfactual. It is factual that our free-ish access to firearms make crazy people more lethal.

Which should happen because she's a lunatic that has likely made threats to cause harm to others. This is where Red Flag laws step in and prevent crazies from getting guns.

Millions upon millions of gun owners in this country that would never, ever do something like this because we're not touched in the head. But you want to take the guns away from every law abiding citizen because of what a handful of psychopaths have done with them?
