Breaking News School Shooting in Nashville

Right now I own 3 rifles, all semi-automatic: KelTec CMR30 22. Magnum, Keltec Sub2000 9mm, and an AR15 running .223 and 556.
For ammo, I have about 1000 rounds of .22wmr, 1000 rounds of 9mm, and a mix of about 100 rds of steel case (cheap!) .223, maybe 100 rounds of standard M193 5.56, and 140 rounds of M855 green tip. I need way more than that, I'm probably looking at an order of M193 this week of maybe 200 rounds and another 200 the following week.

For magazines I have 9 standard AR magazines (30 rds each) and one 40 round joint. For the 9mm I have 13 magazines: 4 17 round, 4 21 round, 4 27 round, and one 50 round drum mag. I have six magazines for the .22 magnum.

I should have my next gun by the end of next week. Debating on whether it's going to be a 10mm rifle, 10mm pistol, or a 9mm Glock17 compatible joint. All told, I'm looking at buying a total of 4 handguns and another 4 rifles by the end of the summer/early fall.

Doesn’t look like much of a limit to me. What possible “need” does someone have for that much firepower other than because it’s fun. You only got 2 hands and short of an armed militia you not facing any threat where that is needed. Unless you prepping for some sort of zombie apocalypse or other societal collapse.

So while folks are fighting for their right to have fun, kids are dying. But that’s ok as long as people can have their arsenal.

3 guns is a lot?

Lmao
3 AR’s and 3k rounds of ammo and multiple high cap mags Is a lot. And he said he’ll have 11 total by summer/fall and hopes to increase his ammo stash.

I’m not judging @konceptjones personally because homie seems to be cool. But if him not being able to have that would save one child’s life I’d be perfectly fine with that. That one child could be mine. Could be any of ours.

You can't worry about being put on governmental gun lists and then not 5 minutes later post pictures of your whole arsenal on the internet lol. Hope yo ass using a VPN.

We've gone over it repeatedly in similar threads: Guns can't shoot themselves. It's the person wielding the gun that's the problem. This ain't got shit to do with me "liking guns", it's about doing something meaningful to stop these nut jobs from shooting up schools and shit. Y'all literally refuse to remember that not only have I pointed this shit out, but I've gone in-depth to explain it.

Time and time again we've come to find out that many of these shooters have had previous run-ins with law enforcement where they exhibited similar behaviors or behaviors conducive to being a fuckin maniac willing to kill people. What's needed is the ability to strip someone of their ability to legally purchase guns when they've shown themselves to be mentally unstable. I stress the "legally" part because nothing will stop someone from buying a gun illegally. Red Flag laws do exist but are not enforced and it needs to be a nationwide thing.

Also, make all private gun sales go through an FBI background check just like you do when you cop from a licensed dealer. We had that law in place in Nevada and 13 other states also have it. Make that nationwide as well.

I've said this in all of these other threads that you, @Inori, and @TheNightKing have been a part of but y'all don't seem to get it.
I love all these ideas but people making they own guns and bullets.
Machining ain’t that hatd

Absolutely.

I have a 50rd drum for my 9mm carbine and every time I empty that bitch I already know I'm spending $20-$30 on ammo to reload it unless I catch a box of 50 on sale for dirt cheap. My .22 magnum rifle takes 30rd magazines and is really picky about ammo. Can't use the cheap shit at all so the ammo I gotta buy is damned near as much as 9mm. Unless I buy dirt cheap steel case .223 for my AR, that shit ain't cheap either running about $15-$20 for 20 rounds of standard M193 FMJ. I can easily run through a couple hundred rounds on each rifle per visit so that's a decent chunk of change every trip on top of the lane rental fees, targets, etc.

Next time niggas say I’m stuntin…i got proof it happens all the time just in different ways.

The 9mm Carbine is the only gun of the three that I would use for home defense. Uses the same ammo as a 9mm pistol but hits much harder. It's also a survivalist rifle by design so it fits in a backpack, and I will be gong camping in northern MI soon and I have a magazine with 165 grain full metal jacket ammo specifically for that reason. Northern MI is bear country, also coyote, wolf, and cougar country. Lynx, bobcats, and foxes that live up that way can be dispatched with "normal" ammo. Truthfully, the 10mm rifle and pistol I'm looking at are far better solutions, but until I have them I have to use the best for the task out of what I currently have and that's the 9mm.

My .22wmr rifle would not ever be my first choice for home defense. Not that the .22 magnum round isn't up to the task, but there's a significant risk of over penetration from that round, particularly with the 50 grain and 40 grain full metal jacket rounds I have for it. Otherwise, its a great hunting rifle for small game (particularly pheasant, duck, goose, and wild turkey) and also for pest control (remember, I live out in the sticks, opossum, racoon, and other varmint are a constant nuisance).

Deer season is almost over and my boys up north that hunt have already done it, so I gotta wait until September or October to get the squad together and head up to mid-Michigan. If for some reason I haven't picked up an AR10 (.308 Winchester) or .338 Lapua bolt action rifle by the time the next season rolls around, my AR15 can do the job as long as I get the right shot and I'm not too far away. One of my boys up in Midland has been talking about going out for Russian Boar lately, and because it's an invasive species you can hunt that year-round. A heavier .223 round in the AR will handle it, but not as well as a .308/7.62x51mm NATO round from an AR10 would.

As for having a lot of magazines: I really doubt you've ever been to a gun range. It's better to have multiple magazines than to waste time stopping to reload every time you run through a magazine. Drop a mag, load a full mag, keep shooting. Reload them when you get home. For practice, I can run through 200 rounds from each gun in a single visit without even thinking.

No single rifle is the right one for every task. Same for handguns. Same for ammo. There is no one-size-fits-all solution for guns., Shit doesn't exist. I selected each of my guns after careful consideration. Even the joints I'm looking at buying in the future had a lot of thought put into them. Each handgun can also use the magazines from the rifles of the same caliber, which saves money. Each rifle has a specific duty.

I have ONE AR15. Where did you see three AR's at???

... 'cause that might be kinda dope to have.

I buy my guns through licensed dealers. The government can easily find out what I bought frm the FFL because they must keep accurate records on your purchase tied to the NICS check done. It's decentralized in that way so it's not under the government's umbrella but if the ATF needs to figure out who a gun found at a crime scene belonged to they can do so very quickly.

And, as I've been saying since the IC: The government been watching me due to the nature of my previous work with them as well as my history along with my family's history of activism in the 70's. I ain't worried about them niggas.

I hear you. Just wanting to make it known that it's not a great idea and in no way is it conducive to a productive learning environment.

You don't even know they're around unless you run into one while changing classes or if you're starting some shit. Otherwise, they don't interfere with classes or anything.

This is a very weird thread to be bragging about your gun fetish.
