Six Sandy Hook Families, FBI Agent File Defamation Lawsuit Against Alex Jones

Yet another defamation lawsuit has been filed against InfoWars conspiracy theorist and trembling mountain of head cheese Alex Jones for claiming that the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was a hoax.

According to the suit, which was obtained by HuffPost, family members of six victims of the massacre – in which 20 young children were killed – and one FBI agent, William Aldenburg, are suing Jones through attorney Josh Koskoff.

“Alex Jones does not in fact believe that the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax – and he never has,” the suit claims. “Nevertheless, time and again, Jones has accused Sandy Hook families, who are readily identifiable, of faking their loved ones’ deaths, and insisted that the children killed that day are actually alive.”

The newest suit against Jones joins one filed in April by two other Sandy Hook families. Jones has claimed for many years that the shooting never happened, pointing to phony evidence like green screens and cue cards.

InfoWars contributor Wolfgang Halbig and Cory Sklanka, Halbig’s associate, are also named in the suit. The suit claims that Halbig has called victims of the shooting “crisis actors” and has directly contacted Newtown residents multiple times, leading the police to warn him that he would be charged with harassment if he didn’t stop.

Halbig also claimed in 2015 that Aldenburg, who was among the FBI agents who responded on the day of shooting, was the same person as a Sandy Hook father, adding that the shooting was “the biggest illusion ever portrayed by Homeland Security and FEMA.”

“[Jones] went on a sustained attack that has lasted for years, accusing shattered family members of being actors, stating as fact that the shooting itself was a hoax and inciting others to act on these malicious lies,” Koskoff said in a statement. “He knew his claims were false but he made them anyway to further a simple but pathetic goal: to make money by tearing away at the families’ pain.”

“This lawsuit seeks to hold Alex Jones and his financial network accountable for those disgraceful actions,” he added.

Them Alex Jones breed of people think every crisis is a conspiracy theory. I remember this one dude tried to convince that the Tennessee bus accident that happened 2 years ago was fake. Told him that his theory was blasphemy & ignorant because not only I know a childhood friend child that passed on that bus & my niece was on that bus but luckily she survived. They think those deaths & injuries be fake & a conspiracy until it hit home close to their turf

Alex Jones is apparently countersuing one of the Newtown families that filed a lawsuit against him for his years of spreading Sandy Hook truther conspiracy theories.

A new report from New York Times puts a tragic focus on Veronique De La Rosaand Leonard Pozner, whose 6-year-old son Noah was murdered five years ago. They have endured tragic and senseless harassment ever since by those who believe what Jones says.

In fact, the bereaved parents have been forced to move seven times in the last few years because they keep getting accosted by people saying the shooting was the false flag event Jones claimed it to be.

The Pozners are one of several families suing Jones for defamation, and their lawsuit will go before the court today in Austin, TX. Jones is apparently going to stick to his claim that the Sandy Hook families are trying to bury him with legal costs, so the cases against him ought to be dismissed on free speech grounds.

To this point, according to the Times, “Jones is seeking more than $100,000 in court costs from the Pozner family.”

Mr. Jones and his lawyers say in court filings that the Pozner family’s suit is an effort “to silence those who openly oppose their very public ‘herculean’ efforts to ban the sale of certain weapons, ammunition and accessories, to pass new laws relating to gun registration and to limit free speech.”

That stance echoes Mr. Jones’s original false claims that Sandy Hook was staged by government-backed gun control activists. Mr. Jones’s lawyer says in court filings that Mr. Jones’s theories are opinion, which is more broadly protected by the First Amendment. He also maintains that Mr. Pozner and Ms. De La Rosa are public figures, because Mr. Pozner has created a nonprofit to combat the harm caused by online falsehoods and Ms. De La Rosa has advocated a ban on assault weapons, like the AR-15-style rifle used in the Sandy Hook shooting.

their theories are grounded in shit the US government actually proposed doing. Back in the 60's the Joint Chiefs of Staff proposed a false flag operation, which included faking the deaths of us citizens, called Operation Northwoods as a pretext for an invasion of Cuba.

"8. It is possible to create an incident which will demonstrate convincingly that a Cuban aircraft
has attacked and shot down a chartered civil airliner en route from the United States to Jamaica,
Guatemala, Panama or Venezuela. The destination would be chosen only to cause the flight plan
route to cross Cuba. The passengers could be a group of college students off on a holiday or any
grouping of persons with a common interest to support chartering a non-scheduled flight.

a. An aircraft at Eglin AFB would be painted and numbered as an exact duplicate for a civil
registered aircraft belonging to a CIA proprietary organization in the Miami area. At a designated
time the duplicate would be substituted for the actual civil aircraft and would be loaded with the
selected passengers, all boarded under carefully prepared aliases. The actual registered aircraft
would be converted to a drone.

rendezvous south of Florida. From the rendezvous point the passenger-carrying aircraft will

arrangements will have been made to evacuate the passengers and return the aircraft to its original

drone will begin transmitting on the international distress frequency a "MAY DAY" message
stating he is under attack by Cuban MIG aircraft. The transmission will be interrupted by
destruction of the aircraft which will be triggered by radio signal. This will allow ICAO radio [16]
stations in the Western Hemisphere to tell the US what has happened to the aircraft instead of the
US trying to "sell" the incident."

I'm not saying that Sandy Hook was a false flag, I'm saying that conspiracy theorists have a reason to think the way they do when our own government has planned similar shit.

The Sandy Hook Hoax Case Against Alex Jones Turns Even Uglier

The law firm representing the victims and families of the Sandy Hook shooting in their lawsuit against conspiracy theorist Alex Jones filed a motion on Monday claiming that Jones had threatened one of the firm’s attorneys on air.

Attorneys from Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder accused Jones of threatening Chris Mattei, the legal counsel for the Sandy Hook families currently suing Jones for defamation for calling the shooting a hoax, with violence during an InfoWars segment on Friday night.

It all began when the plaintiffs allegedly found images of child pornography while searching through InfoWars’ email metadata during the discovery process of the suit, according to the motion filed Monday. Based on that filing, it appears that the images were sent to Infowars email addresses, not by Jones.

The plaintiffs complained that Jones and his legal counsel did not go through the emails before handing over the data, which led to the plaintiffs discovering the images.

After lawyers for the plaintiffs alerted the FBI to the images, Mattei told Jones what they had found, according to the motion.

That apparently prompted Jones to blow up during his show Friday night, accusing Mattei of deliberately planting the child porn (the rant begins at the 2:33:30 timestamp, when Jones offers a $1 million reward to find and convict whoever sent the porn).

“I like women with big giant tits and big asses,” Jones growled. “I don’t like kids like you goddamn rapists. Eff-heads.”

Then the far-right commentator started yelling, “You fucks are going to get it.”

“You fucks are going to get it,” he shouted. “You fucking child molesters. I’ll fucking get you in the end. You fucks.”

Jones repeated his reward offer: “You’re trying to set me up with child porn, I’ll get your ass. One million dollars, you little gang members. One million dollars to put your head on a pike.”

At another point during the segment (timestamp 2:37:23), Jones slammed his fist on a picture of Mattei and muttered, “I’m gonna ki…” and cuts himself off.

“Anyway, I’m done,” Jones said. “Total war! You want it, you got it.”

The next hearing in the lawsuit is scheduled for Tuesday at 12 p.m. ET.
