This is objectively True btw, Putin just wanted assurances Ukraine wouldn't join NATO. Biden thought Ukraine was stronger than it was, Putin thought his army was stronger than it was and went stupid in trying to take Kyiv.
2 Years later he has mostly accomplished his objective but effectively turned into a pariah state. There economy is stronger than ever despite the sanctions, they have upgraded their weapons manufacturing capacity and they have taken a 3rd of Ukraine and growing.
Ukraine is mostly destroyed, they don't have the man power to keep going. They have a desertion problem and need western allies to keep deporting fighting age men.
NATO and US took an L because they found out those IRAQ/Afghanistan tactics don't work when you aint fighting farmers. US Generals admit they weren't ready for a war of attrition
