Russia Declares War on Ukraine

France has the ‘chairman’ role of the EU in a few weeks/month - and crucial presidential elections - and with The Netherlands and several other member states have been lobbying for a EU military for years, this is some Oldskool military industrial complex marketing bullshit were witnessing in Ukraine … politics based on fear. They’re spinning this crisis as another reason why they should implement a EU military instead of nato. Literally trillion euro industry’s - French / Dutch weaponry/submarines/aircrafts etc.

russia has been military active in the Ukraine for years, they can’t logistically conquer the Ukraine in the conventional way and even if they could, no one in Europe will fight for the Ukraine and the US can’t stop Russia if they would.

Dont fall for all the fear mongering bullshit Putin, Biden, Macron etc are serving up, they’re all full of shit and trying to keep your eyes of the Covid ball cause the Pandemic is ending and due to corrupt government officials inflation is at all time high.

So you saying Russia isn’t doing anything bad despite what Russia been on the last few years with the annexation and the deaths against anybody that opposes him that’s from Russia?

It's intresting that Ukraine, Russia and NPR media dispute these claims.

Its the western media who has been hungry for a war but the facts dont support that.

no, I’m saying all parties involved are full of shit and when has Russia - or the states for that matter - not been bad? both have been at the epicenter and as a catalyst for wars all over the globe for years.

Im also assuming that you’re not a callow mofo that actually believes whatever the Biden Administration spindoctors came up with.

its the good old ‘bring out the war’ fear mongering bullshit recipe we’ve known for years. No one in here gave a fuck about the Ukraine untill a couple months back.

Ignorant question disclaimer

Why would Russia taking Ukraine be bad for the US?
Back to tiawan….. what would people think if the world police allowed this shit?
More access to Black Sea.
The country don’t want to be got
Reclaiming part of nuclear arsenal

So it’s just because it would make us look soft?

Why is the Ukraine president saying we’re making something out of nothing?

China will have a big say in this which is very very interesting.

We should acknowledge countries do not trust America democracy right now. So going all in with sanctions leaves a lot of countries hesitant.

This is a lose lose for everyone but possibly China

Why would Russia taking Ukraine be bad for the US?

As much shit is talked about when it comes to the US policing the world, alot of the world is reliant on the US to be the police.

A bunch of European countries are out there giving universal health care to their people cause they dont need to spend a ton on their military because the US got them.

And that shit ends up meaning alot.

The US ends up getting really good trade deals because of its influence as the worlds cop. Countries want the US to be reliant on them for something and the US will protect them for their interest.

Its a symbiotic relationship that benefits both sides.

Ontop of that, the US having this influence also allows the US to sanction countries like Russia because so many of the worlds economies will indeed sanction Russia just cause America said so.

Imagine in 30 years, Russia grows in influence and turns around and gets the rest of the world to put a 50% tax on US goods.

Thats alot of power.

All that to say, Russia invading Ukraine means nothing in a vacuum.

But it has this ripple down effect of America not being able to protect mfers, which will start wading US influence down and trade deals are no longer in our favor etc etc.

On a humanitarian level, without picking sides and getting into politics, this shit could potentially devolve into the Ukraine citizens conducting urban combat against the Russians in which thousands of regular citizens might die.

Hopefully this is kept to just soldiers fighting soldiers, but this shit could turn into a nasty humanitarian crisis

Im also wondering what Putins end game is here.

There are talks that Putin is by far the richest man in the world with all the money hes stolen and put into over seas accounts.

And shit at home in Russia aint really going his way. If the Russian opposition ever gets into power and strips Putins diplomatic immunity and investigates him, then him and his family plus a ton of oligarchs will go to jail.

Im thinking hes starting feel pressure at home, and what better way to keep the pressure of you than to start a war? Smh.

But this leads him to being dependent to one of Russias famous enemies China. Which is bad for everyone.

The united states wants to sell their own alternative power sources to Europe and right now Europe doesn't trust America to that extent.

I think this is going to lead to a European army less nato and more nuclear power stations to avoid Russia dependency.

By doing this it shrinks the United States & Britain influence. Leaves China to take over

Not really, cause the question is what does China have that'll have them take over anything?

Thats the thing with China. All they offer to the world is cheap labor.

The US has all the technology the world uses (FB, instagram, bought tik tok, google, list goes on). Russia has a shit ton of natural gas that Europe is reliant on.

China has cheap labor.

Not saying countries arent reliant on China. Just saying its much easier to work towards not being reliant on china, than it is to not be reliant on the US or Russia.
