Aaliyah had pop hits, sex appeal, nice videos and great production. However, when it comes to song vs song.
Anytime Anyplace kills One in a Million.

I love when songs tell stories and take you through the thoughts and emotion of the artist.

You get a story with One in a Million but you get a vivid image with creative composition in addition to the sex appeal, nice video and great production.

Janet takes this one for me.

Sorry A. A. L. I. Y. A. H.
Tried to tell them, lol

Y'all keep talking about videos in here when I'm 100% certain we're supposed to be voting for these songs.

Calling "One In A Million" a throwaway anything is asinine. What you WOULD be referring to is the crew's signature sound considering that it was written by Missy and produced by Timbo. To use that as some sort of knock against the song is insane seeing that it is universally lauded as one of the greatest tandems of all time and what we're not going to do is sit here and rewrite history.

Anytime, Anyplace isn't a more sensual song just because Janet doesn't know how to sing beyond a whisper.

Janet's song gives you sensuality from raunchy lyrics and her shortcomings as a vocalist.

One In A Million gives you sensuality from stellar production, feel and one of Aaliyah's better vocal performances.

"The One I Gave My Heart To" was better vocally.
