this why i don't have kids. me and the wife got money to burn so its not a big deal to lose out on 200$. After gamestop tried to jib me on trading in my Wii I stop giving them my consoles. That'll put a ps5 in the living room, the ps4pro in my office and the ps4 white in the bedroom.

Well, part of the reason for that was because the PS3 was hard to design for, so PS didn't have a games advantage back then. That's not the case now.

I got the og ps4 so I'll probably put it back in the box and put it in the closet/attic with the other consoles I got

Here's the thing. It's not like Sony gonna stop making systems. Theres going to be waves of preorders up until the end of October. All of them will sell out. You just gotta be aware and timely.

I watched my nigga sit in a group chat asking us questions about the process (probably cause he didn't have money in his account) while the rest of us got preorders in. By the time he tried to check out that shit was sold out lol.

Just relax, keep an ear to the streets and move quickly when the time comes.

Were 2 waves in so you know at this point if you don't have a preorder already you not getting it the first 2-3 days unless you lining up overnight somewhere.

I signed up for the email from like 5 retailers to let me know when more pre orders come in.

I could have bought the $499 one but I refuse to get that shit. Im probably not even gonna take it out the box till god of war comes out
 
I wonder what the refund policy would be for these as they aren't due to come out for awhile...
What if one purchased one of these off of ebay (3rd party transaction) and then decided to cancel their order...
The buyer could always mark the sell as Item wasn't received.... we are more than 30 days out from the release date of these consoles.

Good luck to all, but don't count that money until the console has been shipped. Anything can happen.
Backorders, recalls, thefts from the delivery trucks...

Lest we forget... this is 2020. It's not just another year; it's one of the advanced levels of Jumanji.

The money doesn't go in my account for 21 days. And I marked mine to ship on November 19th.
I'm very aware of what's going on. I'm good. Worst case I could pull up to a best buy where folks lined up day of release and still get this shit off. People I know personally alread asking me about buying it.

The bet people that are buying on ebay are making isn't if they'll get a ps5. It's when. They want it asap. There isn't going to be any shortage of systems it's a matter of how soon after release do you want it at this point.

Do you mean what ps+ offerings they've got coming or what new games they got coming?

Cause a free 18 game library at launch is fire and they've been wild transparent about games being released at launch and in the future so I'm confused. What more are you looking for?

Did you watch any of the showcases?
