For context, I removed his two stand up specials as they aren't films per say. Based off this you saying only 5 have of his 20+ are very good/ to classic. If we add the other 7 ones we at 12 for his 20+ films. That's not a mid film career?

I'd have to think of who else got a mid film career.
 
Eddie got 40 films and 28-30 are legitimate classics or great.

Let me check Tucker since he been mentioned a lot
