Biblically speaking, the latter is true. But a very wack way to present the gospel. This is more southern Baptist. This type of preaching is not out on the west coast. And for the most part, it is a very dated way. This type of preaching was to get more bodies in the door back in the day. Now it’s not necessary. Charismatic churches are a hit with “progressive christians”, and this type of church is what is taking over Christianity atm.
