Polygamy is men being able to marry multiple women. It doesn't include women having the option to marry multiple men. Or same sex unions.

If ur question is only on whether men should be able to have multiple wives one sidedly, my answer is gonna be wildly different to if u r asking if ppl in general shld be able to marry more than one person (plural marriages).
 
Sorry I didn't specify it. I'm talking about all the polys, polygamy, polygany and polyandry

If u get right down to it, marriage as we know it is a sexist institution. Within a western context, I see no harm in legalizing plural marriages. If women r just as able to marry 2, tree, fo niggas then that alone changes the power dynamic of men being able to marry multiple women while women can only share a man.

It's iust giving people more options.

N like I said, people are already doing plural marriages in cities near u. They just aren't getting papers to support it. If anything, makin it legal is gonna at least let poly lovers fare better when one of em dies or goes to hospital n they gotta work out relation.

i thought it was just a lifestyle choice... but race jones got me feeling like that shit will cause societal ruin...

People should have freedom to choose what they want to be in. If all parties are adults and make the decision then why would we say they are wrong. I am not talking about forced anything, I am saying consenting adults. People choose open relationships and all kind of stuff. Because it may not work for me or you doesn't make it bad. I have enough on my plate dealing with one wife I personally could not imagine having 2.

From the constitution's point of view, I can't think of a good reason to block consenting adults agreeing to an alternative life style.

However, as I probably know slightly more about the reality of polygamy than the average American (I don't want to explain, at least not yet) and what I have seen is it rarely works out well for women, and it's almost always women and daughters who are relegated to the bottom of the relevancy in their own families.
