Singer and actor Jellyroll has been training to make his WWE in-ring debut and will do so at Summerslam, PWInsider.com can confirm.

Jellyroll will be at tomorrow's Friday Night Smackdown to kick off the storyline, which we are told will see him aligned with a top babyface ahead of Summerslam in East Rutherford, NJ this August.

We have not confirmed the babyface but when we asked if it was Cody Rhodes, we were told no.

Jellyroll, a huge WWE fan, performed at last year's Summerslam. In the past, he has pointed to dropping weight in anticipation of perhaps doing something in the ring with WWE and that time is now.

In an update, PWInsider.com noted that the Jelly Roll storyline will see him face off with Logan Paul. At this time, it’s unknown if the two will be in a singles match or if they will have tag-team partners. WWE sources shot down the idea of Cody Rhodes being involved in the angle.

Earlier this week, PWInsiderElite.com reported that actor and singer Jellyroll would be making his in-ring debut at Summerslam.

We can now confirm the plan is for Jellyroll to work a tag team match next month, teaming with Randy Orton.
