Only a matter of time before Royal Rumble, MITB and possibly Survivor Series has a 2-night event.

They want to break records and make a lot of money that’s one of the best ways to do it. Also, having such a large roster and splitting two nights gives much more room to showcase their talent. A lot of the times these 3 PLE’s feel clustered and rushed. Giving the men and women each their own night and at the same time other talent to get ring time might not be everyone’s cup of tea but it does make sense.

World Wrestling Entertainment had a number of employee layoffs today, PWInsider.com has learned.

We are told there were "a few" layoffs, including some long-standing employees. We have not confirmed the divisions involved but it was believed by one source t be more than one area of the company.

There is no word whether the depatures are related to today's announcement that the UFC and WWE live events division are merging into one division going forward. TKO Group Holdings has continued to assimiliate the two companies since purchasing WWE last year, seeking ways to cut overall costs to help maximize revenue.

AEW's Eddie Kingston met with surgeons today and due to the nature of his injuries, will likely not go under the knife to repair his ACL and meniscus tears until this July, at the earliest.

Kingston relayed to PWInsider.com that he's been advised that he'll initially have to wait for his tibular frature to heal and do some physical therapy before surgeons can then focus on his knee.

Kingston told PWInsider.com today that after the surgery is completed, he's been advised it will likely be ten months before he'll be able to return to the ring. That would place his comeback, if there are no changes to the expected timeline, at May 2025.

Kingston told PWInsider, "Not mad. I don't give a f***. it's what happens when you wrestle. Just gotta get f**king better."
