Sources within New Japan Pro Wrestling have confirmed Mercedes Varnado aka Sasha Banks is currently en route to Japan and is expected to arrive tomorrow in advance of her planned appearance at the Tokyo Dome on Wednesday 1/4/23 for the promotion's Wrestle Kingdom 17.

As PWInsider.com broke several weeks ago, NJPW is bringing Varnado to the event, which will feature IWGP Women’s Champion KAIRI vs. Tam Nakano. Varnado is expected to at least make a cameo.

Varnado will be in Japan for the next several weeks prior to the event.

there has only been 1 black IWGP champion(Bob Sapp).... Sasha can't carry a attitude over there if she's asked to do a job or two.
