I also think that anyone who is released in the near future should stay away from AEW. I would consider touring the indies or going to Japan. AEW's is looking bloated with too many people and not enough ideas. I think the following talent have seen their stock drop since joining AEW:
Keith Lee. A rising star in NXT who lost momentum with bad creative on the main roster, but still should have been a bigger deal when joining AEW. He looks disinterested in AEW.
Danielson. A legend. Arguably as popular as Punk, yet you would not know it by AEW's booking of him. The BPCC can die already. It's holding everyone involved in it back.
Claudio. Why is he RoH champion? He should be in the mix for one of the main AEW titles. This dude was consistently over in WWE, it's just WWE we're bad at booking him too.
Miro. The biggest example of how garbage AEW creative is. This man is a monster heel. He can be a credible champion anywhere.
Malakai Black. The House of Black is cool, but you can clearly see another example of creative sleeping on top tier talent.
Pac. Death Triangle is cool, but each member should be rolling solo. Especially Pac. He's far too talented to not be in some deep singles feud. He can carry himself against anyone.
Swerve may be the only outlier who I think needed to be away from WWE to better mold his personality. He appeared to be forcing it early on with Hit Row, but his heel work is getting better every time I see him.
