Did you complain about why Hulk Hogan and/or Steve Austin didn’t defend their world titles every Monday night? Was there a fuss that Hall/Nash and/or the New Age Outlaws didn’t defend their tag titles? Was there any crying when The Rock didn’t defend the IC title or why didn’t Goldberg defend the US championship every single week?
They didn't need to defend their titles every week but unlike a certain someone they performed every week. They didn't win titles and stay home during ppv's. They didn't job out a whole roster to the point no one is believable as a contender.
