But Mark does more behind the scenes work tho. So it's understandable.

I mean if MJF want more money...but the contract to still expire 2024...then I see Khan's position. You want me to pay you an exorbitant amount of money, w/o knowing for certain if you gonna bounce?? Naw homie. I'm not gonna be able to do it!

But if it's an extended contract wit more money...cool. Khan will give him that. Money ain't a thing. He and his father got more than WWE.

Exactly what I was going to type.

Aint no way im giving his ass main event money in the middle of his contract he already signed. He already got more money when they didnt have to in Jan but homie down fall is trying to cash out before we get to the bidding war date.

On today’s “Hall of Fame Podcast” Booker T gave his thoughts on the Double Or Nothing title match between Hangman Adam Page and CM Punk.

Booker T gives his thoughts on CM Punk winning the AEW World Title:
“CM Punk definitely is the guy,” Booker said.

“What do you bring him in for if you’re not going to put the title on him, push him to the moon, and really try and create a buzz off of what CM Punk has created?”
“For me as a promoter, that would have been the move I would have been thinking. Put the title on CM Punk and let’s see how far we can ride this gravy train.”

Booker 2 for 2 today.

I mean AEW did what WWE couldn't do for 7yrs...bring Punk back to wrestling. Why do that and not put the title on him?

I would've did it...just so I get Punk/MJF II. Then put the title on MJF.

coulda just had Brock beat Taker a year earlier. Set up WM30 right there....


Think the original plan was for Brock to face The Rock at WM30 til Rock tore his whole shit up against Cena.
 
Why they need a different timeline? Punk's a malcontent, if it wasn't that it would have been something else. Man's got sued by his own best friend.

Rock/Cena is the biggest match of all time, running that back was a no brainer.

deep down inside i believe that Khan knows that he will lose a bidding war to Vince in 2024..... i read that MJF will not sign a extension....... smart man..... he knows that he's a once in a decade heel talent.

but Tony doesn't have more than Vince on his own...... Aew was built on Tony Khan's allowance from his father..... his father can cut him off at any moment if he so chooses.

I'm a big fan. I don't think he has a leg to stand on when he complains about not main eventing over Rock/Cena or being inserted to it, when again it is the biggest match of all time. And I think he's a hypocrite for being the old guy in the way of the younger guys when that was his chief complaint during his WWE stint.
 
Real Talk: I was never a fan of Rock vs Cena.

Never cared for it. Never went back to watch it. Nothing. It just didn't do anything for me.
