During his Twitch video feed today, the former Aleister Black was told that he was informed his release was due to budget cuts. He thanked Vince McMahon, Triple H and Paul Heyman for his time in the company. He said that McMahon was always positive in his conversations with Black and praised his creativity.
He noted the company had created a new theme for him that will never be heard for him now.
He stated he and Big E were slated to face off on this Friday's Smackdown. Obviously, that won't be happening! He said that the creative team works extremely hard and asked fans not to be upset at them.
He noted that when he was pulled from TV, it was originally just slated to be a few weeks but ended up being seven months. He said that was a slow death and "murdered" him but he was looking forward to the future.
Black noted that he would continue wrestling and was open to opening a wrestling school.
Black's latest t-shirt is still available for pre-orders on the WWE Shop website, but whether it is released remains to be seen.
Talents released would be available to wrestle elsewhere by early-mid September.
