thats still a big drop down the card tho from a feud wit the top guy to a tag team... with Big Cass

why not find him another top level feud to go into

I don't think he went out his way to punish Punks friends, alot of his close friends have had constant pushes since.

I'd blame it on Cody more then anything.

Starks needs to come in with a brand new paint and gimmick. He doesn't need to be presented as Rock Extra Lite anymore. I can see him having a good North American championship run. Maybe Cody can get him back aligned with him and do something on the main roster with him.

I can't agree honestly. Going from stop-start booking to having one of the best tag reigns in the last 2 years isn't a drop.

I think this happened cos Danielson came back early from injury and stepped in after Punk got fired (I think that was supposed to be a much longer program long-term) and Starks didn't wanna work with Jericho again (I don't blame him cos that last feud ran on for WAY too long and did nothing for him).
