Monday's WWE RAW episode, featuring fallout from WWE Money In the Bank with WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley revealing the new 24/7 Title and Brock Lesnar returning, drew an average of 2.521 million viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily. This is up 7.3% from last week's 2.349 million viewers.

For this week's show, the first hour drew 2.681 million viewers (last week's hour 1 - 2.576 million), the second hour drew 2.583 million viewers (last week's hour 2 - 2.391 million) and the final hour drew 2.299 million viewers (last week's hour 3 - 2.080 million), a 14% drop from hour 1.

This is the best RAW viewership since the Superstar Shakeup episode on April 15, which drew 2.665 million viewers, and the third straight week that the viewership has increased. The number was also only down 5.5% from this time last year, whereas in recent weeks the audience has been down 15% - 30% since 2018.

So who was responsible Lesnar or the new 24/7 title

Either way last weeks ratings were up and now this weeks ratings is even higher.

Smackdown did bad last week and Idk how good its gonna do tonight either honestly.

As noted, Dolph Ziggler returned to WWE TV on this week’s SmackDown and will now face WWE Champion Kofi Kingston at the upcoming WWE Super ShowDown event in Saudi Arabia.

The original opponent planned for Kofi in Saudi Arabia was Kevin Owens in a rematch from Money In the Bank. Fightful reports that Owens has reportedly told WWE officials that he did not want to return to the Kingdom with the company. There’s no word yet on why Owens made the decision, but it could have something to do with his good friend and partner Sami Zayn. Zayn was pulled from WWE’s first event in the Kingdom, Greatest Royal Rumble, because he is of Syrian descent and the Kingdom has had a strained relationship with Syria for years.

Owens worked Greatest Royal Rumble but was injured for the second Saudi show in November, Crown Jewel. John Cena and Daniel Bryan pulled out of Crown Jewel because of the controversy surrounding WWE’s working relationship with the Kingdom due to the state-sponsored murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018.

Stay tuned for updates on the Owens situation.

SmackDown Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan will not be making the trip to Saudi Arabia for WWE Super ShowDown, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio.

Bryan reportedly turned down the offer to work the show. There’s no word yet on what this means for his status on the blue brand, but we will keep you updated.

Bryan previously skipped out on WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia over how the Kingdom treats homosexuals and the controversy surrounding the state-sponsored murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, among other reasons. He did wrestle at the first WWE event in the Kingdom, Greatest Royal Rumble.

As noted, Kevin Owens is also turning down the return to Saudi Arabia. This is why Dolph Ziggler returned on SmackDown last night to challenge WWE Champion Kofi Kingston for Super ShowDown. Owens was originally scheduled for that match, but Meltzer noted that Ziggler was brought back as a last minute change.

Ziggler was previously announced for a convention in Melbourne Australia during the weekend of Super ShowDown, but WWE Australia announced today that he was pulled due to a scheduling change. (H/T to Wrestling Inc.) Carmella was just announced as his replacement.

There’s also no official word on why Owens turned the show down, but it could be due to his friend and partner Sami Zayn, who was pulled from Greatest Royal Rumble because he is of Syrian descent and the Saudis have had strained relations with Syria.

Stay tuned for updates on the Super ShowDown situation.

“So Brock’s gonna face Seth. They made that very clear on tonight’s show a week early, a week before they should’ve because the whole intrigue for next week’s show was gonna be ‘who’s Brock gonna face?’ Don’t ask me how you end RAW with ‘tune in next week to see who Brock’s gonna face Kofi Kingston or Seth Rollins’ and then you shoot an angle with Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler on tonight’s show.”

So the briefcase means what? He walks in, wins it, comes in on RAW and does nothing and then is already being GIVEN a title match w Seth.

He could lose, then immediately cash in for a 2nd chance & win, or win vs Seth and cash in on Kofi later. I get that two belts for Brock is probably unlikely but that offchance is there...

They should do the MITB once every few years. It’s so played out at this point

Apparantly ziggler was a last minute replacment because kevin owens and db aint going to saudi arbia

Good deal for Ziggler if he’s not doing any house shows: Show up for 2 smackdowns, Saudi Arabia show and that’s basically it

I really wish most of them would say nah, we ain’t going... especially after that Ashley rape stuff..

The plot thickens

WWE issued a statement this in response to allegations that were brought to light by Konstantine Kyros, who represented the late Ashley Massaro and others in multiple lawsuits related to concussions against World Wrestling Entertainment after Kyros published an affidavit made by Massaro regarding her treatment while under contract to WWE. In the affidavit, Massaro alleged that she was sexually assaulted while touring military bases for WWE in Kuwait and was asked not to report the assault by members of WWE management.

WWE's response reads as follows:

WWE is saddened by the death of Ashley Massaro, and we reiterate our condolences to her family. However, we regret that her attorney Konstantine Kyros, who filed multiple cases against WWE, lost all of them, and was sanctioned multiple times by the Court for repeated misconduct and false allegations, is using Ashley’s death to further his malicious campaign against WWE by releasing an affidavit that she submitted to the Court and later apologized to WWE for being involved with, so we wish to make certain things crystal clear.

At no time was Vince McMahon or the management of WWE ever informed by Ashley Massaro or anybody else that she had been sexually assaulted, drugged, raped or sodomized by a military doctor with a nurse standing guard while on a goodwill tour in 2007 to U.S. military bases in Kuwait. In fact, if she ever articulated such a claim to WWE, we would have reported it immediately to the Base Commander.

At no time was there ever a meeting with Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn, John Laurinaitis or other company executives in which she told them of such a claim and was instructed to keep it quiet.

She claims to have told Maria Kanellis about being assaulted but Maria hasn't even said anything about it, not even after all these years even tho they were real good friends. Maria always been vocal about a lot of shit when it comes to women on her social media so I dont see her being silent about no shit like that. Why would she not step up and be like "Ashley did come to me right after it happened" if it did happen and she remained silent for this long then she a shitty friend

Im leaning more towards it being ducktales tho

Yea but shes also one of the first ones who had requested a release months ago but despite all that if you were close with somebody and some shit like that happened to them are you just gonna remain silent or work for the company who let it happen in the first place?

That statement was put out by the WWE’s lawyer(who’s basically the company’s fixer) so that statement plus the other statements that were put out by him can’t be trusted..
