Here’s how to book the kofi angle for mania.
First- Mustafa Ali comes out and claims he was looked over and he deserves the mania shot.
Second- Triple h comes out and announces that mustafa isn’t owed anything but he does agree he will give him an opportunity to earn a shot at mania. That at fast lane it will be mustafa vs. the last man in the chamber kofi in ladder match with the number one contender for the wwe championship contract be hung 15 feet in the air.
Third- fast lane comes and him and kofi fight for 30 minutes in the ring. Then mustafa is laid out on the announcers table, kofi climbs the ladder and mustafa moves. Kofi goes through the table. After about two minutes mustafa climbs the ladder. Only for Joe to come out and choke out mustafa just as he’s about to grab the contract. Kofi recovers climbs the ladder and grabs the contract.
This would set up joe vs. mustafa No dq at mania. As well as give the fans what they want and that’s kofi vs. Bryan 2. This time kofi wins and it becomes a well deserved mania moment.
The smack down after mania big E turns on kofi. And claims he hasn’t been given a shot in this company. That he has carried the new day. And that his time is now.
Kind of evolution like.
Xavier woods stands by kofi. Cuts an amazing promo on how no one even knew who big E was before the new day. That all he was, was a bodyguard diesel wannabe for dolph Ziegler. How next week he will show him who carried who.
The following week on smack down Xavier challenges big E to a match. Before the match can even happen Xavier gets attacked off camera by big E. The match will never take place. Kofi out of anger accepts big E’s challenge for the ppv after mania.
At the ppv big E and kofi have a back and forth match. At about the 15 mark kofi ducks a clothesline from big E he hits the ref, then knocks kofi down. Xavier comes out with a chair to help kofi but when he hits the ring assaults kofi with the chair and secured the victory for big E.
That will secure a rivalry for months.......buuuuuut Kofi’s black so it’s not gonna happen and we’ll probably just get new day vs the usos again at Mania

Good question. I remember when ric flair was in tna and wwe asked for permission to use him for the four horsemen being inducted in the HOF. They came to an agreement. I doubt aew and wwe would come to any type of agreement
thing is, let the the three of them have creative control over a feuding storyline..
i bet they do better with the main event than the shield and the wyatts did....

Tonight on smackdown, DB calls out Kofi and is sympathetic about beating him at the shampooer but soon changes his tune and disrespects Kofi. When DB insults Big E, he attempts get in DBs face but Erick Rowan is in his face. Rowan shoves Es face and a fight is on. Then Luke Harper makes his return and they beat down new day. Big E is speared thru the barricade, Xavier is hit with a few finishers int he ring, and Kofi is powerbombed thru the announce table. DB stands tall
Next week, new day seeks revenge and DB, Rowan and Harper hit the ring. Vince russ out and threatens to fire them if a fight happens. He gets in between them and makes a match at fast lane: DB, Rowan Harper vs new day. Then Vince makes the stipulations interesting: if DBs team wins, DB gets to choose his WM opponent, anyone from the smackdown roster. If new day wins, the member who scores the pinball or submission faces DB at mania for the wwe title. Vince can do some shady shit like put his arm around Xavier and say something like "Big E hits the big ending and is about to cover Rowan, do you stay on the apron and cheer on your brother or do you break up the pin?" So things become eerie for the new day leading up to fast line. That match would be interesting and we would see all 3 members break up pitfalls. Kofi ends up winning but the last shot is seeing Big E and Xavier not looking too happy.
For weeks leading up to mania, they aren't seen together. Even during axxess, they aren't seen together, not even at the HOF!! Its mania time! Kofi comes out to his first wwe theme and him and DB have a great match with no interference from anyone. Kofi wins and is celebrating in the ring and then, Big E and Xavier, in tears, hit the ring and hug Kofi and have the ultimate WM moment!!

i remember an elimination chamber match from 2014 coming down to orton vs bryan. some authority fuckery ensued and orton retained the title. the fans wanted bryan to win the title badly and were sad af when he lost
five years later, in the exact same match and ppv, the roles were switched. now bryan is the heel champion everyone wanted to lose and kofi is the babyface fans wanted to win, and was disappointed he didn’t
Bryan doesn’t have a clear opponent for Wrestlemania so why not go with Kofi? but kofi wasn’t in their plans so they won’t do shit special with him
