WWE superstar Jimmy Uso -- one half of the popular Usos tag team -- was arrested after a drunken dispute with cops in Detroit ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The 33-year-old -- real name Jonathan Solofa Fatu -- and his wife, fellow WWE superstar Naomi, were pulled over near downtown Detroit ... after cops say Naomi was driving the wrong direction on a one-way street.

According to our police sources, cops say their 2018 Dodge Journey reeked of booze ... so they ordered Naomi out of the car.

We're told while Naomi talked to cops, Jimmy got out of the car -- despite commands from police -- and took off his shirt and jacket and squared up like he wanted to fight.

We're told the officer took out his taser 'cause he was scared for his safety.

Jimmy ultimately settled down and complied with their commands ... then he was handcuffed, and arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction.

He was taken to jail ... and later posted bond.

Uso was not in Detroit for a WWE event.

The Uso brothers are multiple-time SmackDown tag team champs ... and are scheduled to face The Miz and Shane McMahon for the belt at Elimination Chamber in Houston this weekend.

Well to be somewhat fair...

His prior DUI is irrelevant because it said Naomi was driving and since it seems she wasn't arrested I'm assuming she wasn't intoxicated. He had a DD which is the responsible thing to do.

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms to acquire the rights and trademarks for the Wargames match from Major League Wrestling, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple WWE sources.

The Wargames' two ring, steel cage "Match Beyond" concept was originally created by Dusty Rhodes in 1987, debuting in July of that year for Jim Crockett Promotions. The dramatic, violent match become a beloved staple for the NWA and later, World Championship Wrestling after Turner Broadcasting purchased that promotion in late 1988. Wargames was utilized regularly by WCW, which branded the Fall Brawl PPV around it, until it shut down in March 2001, purchased by World Wrestling Entertainment at the end of the Monday Night War.

While WWE eventually released a "Best of War Games" DVD set, they did not keep the Wargames match concept active. That left the Wargames sitting, unofficially, in the public domain, as WWE never actually claimed its rights. Indeed, a pitch to revive the match concept eventually evolved into what is now known as the Elimination Chamber.

Enter Major League Wrestling. During the promotion's initial run, the promotion used the Wargames name and concept in 2003 featuring Terry Funk leading a team against Steve Corino's team in Fort Lauderdale. When MLW relaunched in 2007, they filed a trademark for War Games name, as they could lay claim to using it back in 2003 and there was no active trademark for it.

When WWE opted to revive the old concept for NXT in November 2017, they learned they could not trademark the name, as MLW had already done so. This led to WWE filing trademarks on a number of old WCW TV and PPV titles. With WWE using the Wargames name for the second time late last year, we are told by several WWE sources that they reached out to MLW and worked out a deal, acquiring it several months back.

As part of the deal, we are told MLW will not be using the concept or name going forward.

PWInsider.com first learned of WWE acquiring the Wargames rights a week ago and reached out to MLW's Court Bauer at that time. Bauer has not returned a request for comment. However, after being told of WWE acquiring the rights from a third WWE source this evening, PWInsider.com is going forward with our story.

I’ve been through suicide attempts, alcoholism, among so much more with him and stuck by his side. The kicker is finding out that he’s been sleeping with one of my daughters role models all along. @carmellawwe and @wwegraves I hope you guys are happy. I really do!"

Graves wrote, "I suggest taking that post down, because WWE is gonna sue you. I just got a call."

Foul as shit if true. Somebody in upper management needs to make Corey Graves take some time off and get his house in order.

All it takes is one wrong move and WWE will give you them walking papers.

Graves is stretched way too thin. Why is he an announcer on both raw and smackdown? It’s gonna be obvious what wwe thinks if he is announcing the chamber, raw and smackdown in the next 3 days
