Dave Meltzer has confirmed two new matches planned for WWE SummerSlam on August 5.
Earlier this week, Meltzer reported on six matches that are expected to take place on the show:
Meltzer wrote that Logan Paul vs. Ricochet has been added to the lineup as well. In last week's Newsletter, Meltzer wrote that Paul's opponent on the card would be someone who could give him an "in-ring showcase" type of match.
- Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso
- Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
- Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch
- Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair
- Gunther vs Drew McIntyre
- Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler
Also added to the August 5 event is Rhea Ripley defending the WWE World Women's Championship against Raquel Rodriguez.

Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Austin Theory, and Edge are currently without matches on the card.The planned matches are Reigns vs. Jey Uso for the Universal title, Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar, Gunther vs. Drew McIntyre for the IC title, Logan Paul vs. Ricochet, Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Gonzalez for the world women’s title, Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair for the WWE women’s title, Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler and Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch.
