WWE's exclusive window to negotiate future media rights with FOX and NBC have either expired or are about to, PWInsiderElite.com has learned. WWE CEO Nick Khan noted during the most recent stockholders call that those outlets had about a month of exclusive negotiating rights and the belief within the company is they are about to or have already hit the point where WWE can open discussions with all potential media rights bidders for Raw, Smackdown, etc. in the United States.
As we noted earlier today, neither NBC nor FOX mentioned WWE during today's upfront presentations. PWInsiderElite.com has been told by WWE sources that a big piece of the reason why is that WWE programming is now housed under the sports divisions and today's upfronts were produced by and pushing the entertainment side of those companies.
We have also learned there is an all hands on deck WWE employee meeting slated for Wednesday. We are told this had been planned for some time and is not a late,/unforseen addition to the company schedule
