"I go out to the ring and I'm predicting trouble. I don't know if some of the boys might run out there. I got my gimmicks on me. I got the half-inch sword. The quarter-inch sword. Two-inch sword. Anywhere from ten stitches to 550 stitches depending on how bad I want to pull it. I'm thinking old school. I'm thinking the shit is on now. I kept two in my mouth, one on my wrist. I'm being cool, but I'm not a fucking idiot.

Hulkkk said he had the blade on him for his last match in WCW.

:hahaha:

HulKKK ain't about that life. If he was...he would've been cut a muthafucca.

But he wanted the win so bad...he was willing to accept the blatant shenanigans Russo threw at him. He could've just walked out the ring.

You should have heard what he said about his time in Hollywood when he was doing movies when he was in his prime during his run in WWF. Dude basically confirmed them kats be doing gay shit to get on and he said that's why he never blew up Hollywood. He said he wasn't playing them games lmao. Any time somebody like Hogan say shit like this it's a problem (It's been a problem beforehand) lol.

Had they secured Melo that would of instantly revamped it in a positive way.

Im sorry but ive come to realize MVP promo game is super weak, like he can talk fluently but nothing he is saying has any flare or entertainment to it.

Fightful Select has reported numerous times on Punk “still having the wrestling bug,” in addition to Steve Kiern’s book making him miss wrestling, but we’ve learned that Punk has communicated repeatedly to AEW he wants to come back.

Select learned that Punk has laid out numerous scenarios in which he’d return. Among those includes a willingness to work with Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. However, we’ve heard that at least as of a few months ago, Omega and Bucks didn’t seem keen on doing that, for obvious reasons. We’re not sure if that’s changed as AEW has progressed on landing new deals with them.

Punk has also expressed his willingness to return to work for All Elite Wrestling and keep completely separate from the Elite along the way. There were some talent that were of the belief that the rumored upcoming Saturday AEW show could be used to help facilitate that with some separation to the AEW roster, but that’s not something higher ups in AEW have confirmed to us.

In addition, we’re told Punk has been open to working elsewhere, though we’re not sure if that means within the auspices of AEW such as Ring of Honor, or the likes of WWE and NJPW.

Dax Harwood has been pushing the idea of CMFTR vs. The Elite for All In at Wembley, but we haven’t heard if there has been any specific progression on that. Dax did say during our recent interview that he’s in constant contact with Punk.

Hopefully TK doesn’t take the title off Hobbs he’s having a nice little run so far.. But I got feeling he’s going to once again to try and reheat Wardlow up w/ title for like the 2 or 3 time…

CM Punk has expressed his willingness to return to AEW, and it seems like the pieces are being put into place for it to happen.

We will preface and follow this with the disclaimer that nothing is set in stone, and things can change as this is an often tumultuous situation.

Fightful Select had been getting hints after April 12’s report that Punk wanted to come back to AEW, that the wheels were already in motion. We were told shortly before the announcement of Chicago at Wintrust Arena that the June 21 episode of Dynamite would be interesting, and a date to look out for. What we’ve learned since then is as of April 13, the working plan has been for CM Punk to return at that show, or at the very least around it. There were also pitches of announcing it well ahead of time, even around the Warner Upfronts.

Those that we’ve spoken to confirmed that CM Punk has been hoping to work with Kenny Omega and Young Bucks, but we’ve heard of no contact between the two sides. The last we’d heard, The Elite were not keen on the possibility of working with him. AEW sources indicated that Punk had been trying to push for a meeting between everyone for quite a while, but we haven't heard if any progress had been made. It's worth noting that Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are in the middle of negotiating new contracts with AEW.

We’re told that there was also a meeting planned between CM Punk and Chris Jericho, who have had numerous issues in the past, to see if the two working together is a possibility.

There’s been a lot more traction within Warner Bros Discovery about an impending announcement of a prime time Saturday show being designed for a bit of a soft roster split to accommodate the preferences of talent who wanted to stay separate of the particular situations. Talent we’ve spoken to have heard the discussions about a new show, but haven’t heard about Punk’s possible impending return.

As with anything, things can change, but specifically in this situation that has been brewing for the better part of the year. Thus far none of this has been set in stone as best we can tell.
