Randy Orton is slated to be at Wrestlemania 39 weekend, PWInsiderElite.com has confirmed with multiple sources. Orton has not competed for WWE since May 2022 due to back issues, so Mania weekend would be his return to being there. There is no confimed word yet whether he will be appearing on camera at any of the Wrestlemania events or Raw the day after, but we have confirmed Orton will be in Los Angeles for the company's biggest event of the year. As I have noted before, Orton would be a hell of a perfect opponent for Cody Rhodes in the post-Wrestlemania season if the company chose to go that route.

In regard to the WWE NXT Women's Championship, PWInsiderElite.com has been told by several sources that the current plan is for Roxanne Perez to be at Stand and Deliver on Saturday 4/1. One has to wonder if she will be added to the Ladder match "at the last second" after being cleared.

WWE has started to book some legends to come in for Wrestlemania weekend this week, including Jimmy Hart and Kane.

At one point, it was reported that Punk wanted the promotion to buy out his contract and the two sides went their separate ways. However, Punk may have indicated on Instagram that he wants to return.

He noted that he was reading Steve Keirn’s book, which tells the story that Jerry Lawler brought Keirn and Koko B. Ware returned to the Memphis promotion after they got into a backstage fight.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Punk wants to return to AEW after recovering from his injury.

And with the easter egg thing with Punk during the Elite/Hangman segment last night its looking like Elite vs Punk will be the big storyline for 2023/2024.
