They need these fights earlier, for the fighter's sakes .. both dudes were yawning prior to fighting and to be honest never seen fighters yawn right before a bout that much lol
Well, it took longer than expected but yeahHe’s going to run into something vicious and that’ll be it. He’s way too wild
Anyone know if a fight broke out in the crowd or was it gun shots?
lol Ain't no way Rollie was winning every round til he got caught. Bias is real.
This is the first fight that I've watched since I completed my professional judge training here in Georgia. I only gave Rollie round 2. But I wouldn't argue 3 and 4 though if someone gave those to Rollie. Neither fighter was terribly aggressive. They each had moments, but by and large that's all they were, moments. Other than round 2, what I saw was Tank having better ring generalship. He was the one dictating the pace and controlling the ring. For much of the fight, Rollie was following Tank, not forcing Tank into spots. Also, a lot of Rollie's punches missed or were deflected. He did land some really good shots though. Really, I liked a lot of what I saw from Rollie. He just isn't on that level yet. This fight might have been too early for him. I think he just got ahead of himself in the 6th and walked into a nice shot that caught him in the perfect spot.
This is from someone that has never done professional judge training. However as long as I’ve been watching boxing? It just feels like a lot of people on the outside, think that because someone is aggressive it makes them better at fighting than someone who’s retreating. However that’s when I like to tell people, you can become a very aggressive counter puncher. Someone that’s active and putting themselves in a position to set traps for someone that’s trying to aggressively go at them. That’s what I think tank was trying to do. That’s what Floyd Mayweather did in many of his fights. Like I watched his fight with Jesus Chavez the other day, and he was so aggressive in his counters. It was a great entertaining fight. I’m just mad I didn’t go to Barclays to watch it
