That was a good fight... Munguia has showed alot of improvements under Freddie, remember when he was a pretty crude, hard punching fighter when I first saw him back in 2017, hes showed alot more ability over the years... I think this performance raises his profile even more...
Still Canelo's patience, belief and discipline is so impressive, he never seems worried about giving away early rounds as he believes he will catch them eventually... I gave Munguia the first two rounds then Canelo took over but other than the 4th round it wasnt completely one sided imo, Munguia still looked dangerous to the end...
Also Canelo looked so much smaller than Munguia, they looked a good 2 or 3 different weight classes apart, for Canelo to take some of them shots shows hes far from washed as hes still packing granite chin with elite timing and power...
Another great name on Canelo's resume in a weight class he shouldnt be in when you factor in Canelo's hight too, as Munguia looked atleat a light heavyweight in there...
