Official 2019-2020 NBA Thread

I aint shitting on the Sixers at all in this post (even though its fuck the Sixers), but they are the only real case study.

Looking at it at this very moment, the 6 years of tanking they did hasnt been paying off.

MCW is off the team. Okafor off the teams. Noel off. Fultz off.

All they got is Embiid who is a beast and generational talent when healthy but hes injury prone which doesnt just mean he misses games but also he cant practice and so he is never in shape.

Then they got Ben who is a generational level talent that not only hasnt been able to put it together but he legit hasnt gotten better at all since his rookie year.

3 years ago when Ben and Embiid first played a season together we all thought they had next and thought the 6 straight years of tanking paid off but looking at it now they both regressed since last year.

Everyone still young and the talent is definetly there so hopefully it comes together for them but at this moment I cant sit here and say the process was worth it. What say yall?

I will say this tho. Philly started the tank AFTER drafting Noel and MCW. They saw how wack they were and said fuck it. They had to settle for Okafor after missing out on #1. Other than Porzingis and Booker after #3(sixers pick) that whole 2015 class is meh. They fucked up the Fultz pick. Shit happens.

Even with all that going on Philly is leaps and bounds better than the Knicks for the foreseeable future. Keep rearranging your entire franchise to hope to land a top free agent. One day you might get it right. FOH bums.

I respect the Heat. Yall this year's version of the Clippers. A bunch of scrappy role players that will be outclassed come playoff time. You really gonna rely on all them pilgrims to produce when shit gets real? Black Lives matter in the 'offs. CAN'T WAIT TO SHUT YOU THE FUCK UP WHEN THAT TIME COMES.

Nah kid, I ain't trying to compare Philly to NY like that. What I am saying is as a Knicks fan you dissecting another franchises draft history is funny to me.

My guess is Levert ends up getting moved
