Possible but yall schedule hasnt been that hard either.

Either way still lots of time to go on a run.

and this is the "issue". I expected them to be maybe at best 5-5 through the first ten, but that was with Zion in the lineup prior to the injury

they have rotation guys right now playing a lot of minutes which, depending on your outlook could be a good or bad thing

the defensive assignments and effort have also been less than ideal, but im optimistic they will settle in and get better, but im not projecting that to be they will be a top 10 defense by seasons end.

Gentry said on yesterday he had a talk with Jrue and said that Jrue was feeling like he had to get everyone else involved and Gentry told him just do what he does best and everything else will naturally happen. I fully expect Jrue to get out of his slump soon! He didn't just forget how to play basketball.
 
Miami over achieving. They have some nice young pieces but are inexperienced, they are bound to run into struggles later in the season. I think they’ll end around 5-6 seed.

portland should improve with nurkic returning, or maybe they just aint it this season. Still too soon to get a good picture of how the league stands.

I been lost faith in the wall-beal experience bout 3 years ago though, they need to hit the reset button sooner than later... that organization is a fuckin struggle

Yeah but Miami has the same record as the 5th seed so idk if they are technically overachieving now

plus Winslow has only played in 5 out of 10 games and 3 were without Jimmy

I think we have yet to max out as a team because of injuries to rotational players but I respect your opinion

also your Portland post confuses me because you said Jokic

if you mean Nurkic then I wouldn’t put stock into it because the soonest he’ll be back is late feb and he’ll be on restrictions

But to answer your question a lot of unsustainable things taking place to start the season especially with teams shooting so poorly

I dont believe in the Mavs, they might be a playoff team but right now they have the number one offense in the league and I dont think thats real

A lot of cause for concern in Denver besides Jokic, their bench has been bad and the only teams with a worse offensive rating are the Magic and Knicks

The Suns coming back down to earth defensively but their offense is legit, having 48 minutes of strech 5 play is huge....going to be interesting to see how that changes when Ayton comes back though

Pacers have a top 10 offense and Im not sure how especially after they were 18th in offense last season

Yeah thats why i said its too early its about 4 teams all sharing the same 7-3 record. I honestly didn’t think they’d be competitive but the youngins on that team piqued my interest.

Nurkic not returning anytime soon, their only hope is a miracle trade

This seems petty but it’s not but I think the nets are underachieving even w/o Durant and I was talking shit about the pacers but they have done pretty well with no turner and no oladipo and now I think no lamb

Brogdon is their savior and has been their best player imo

Blazers overachieved last year so them this year is normal to me especially going through injury and the roster turnover

The magic are where I expected them to be I see nobody is gonna own up to them being off base so far though
 
Nets are weird because last time i checked before yesterday game they were statistically a top 3 offense but they always seem like they are either playing catch up or they are blowing a 12-15 point lead in a couple minutes... maybe coaching will improve team defense and turnovers but idk.

Continuity is big, but our 5 returning players either been real inconsistent or outright regressed. It’s a real possibility we miss out on playoffs if they dont get in front of these issues.
