Thats also what makes this Butler performance so good.

Cause Bron got AD to take some of the defensive pressure off him, and when Butler goes to score, hes got one of the top 5 defenders in the league waiting for him.

Butler doing what hes doing against AD and Bron is super impressive.

Not saying the heat wins, but lets say they do, butlers path to ring and KDs cant be the same.

Cant just wave it off like they got both rings.

And this coming from a huge KD fan and a not so much of a Butler fan
 
And the funny shit is KD is definetly capable of being the best player in the finals regardless of who is defending him and double teams

My point is why does any of it matter

Both times he was a free agent. He didn't try to force the teams hand to trade him like his teammate did

Define why does it matter.

Does it matter in the great scheme of things? Nah.

Does anyone lose sleep over their opinion on KDs and Brons rings? Hope not.

Does it matter in a discussion in sports? Yea. The whole concept of sports is competition and figuring out who is the best, so everyones skills and accomplishments gonna always be compared to each other and debated.

Dude joined a championship level team, the best team in the west. They didn't need him he needed them so yes it was ring chasing. It's the equivalent of Jordan joining the Pistons after they kicked his ass.
