I'm listening to the '03 Redraftables pod and Chad Ford is saying if it wasn't Darko, it would have been Bosh chosen as the 2nd pick for the Pistons. He said teams including the Pistons were concerned about off the court concerns like the type of people Melo would chill with, his focus on basketball. If Jerry West had gotten the 2nd pick, he would have picked D-Wade. He didn't like Darko or Melo

I listened to that podcast and it’s a joke. With the benefit of hindsight they still get it wrong.

I'm not gonna get into the what era of basketball was the best debate. For the record the only era I think was dookie was the 70's era.
With that said, I just watched game 1 of the 2011 WCF. KD had 19 fta and Dirk Had 24 fta. That was ugly to watch. Hardly any flow to the game bcuz of all the stoppage.

Takeaways from that game...

Dallas had the perfect role players.
Shawn Marion needs to shut the fuck up. Nothing about this game or any other for that matter screams that he is a no brainer HOF'er.
J. J. Barea was cookin niggas.
Westbrook has been wild for a long damn time.
Harden needed more tick.
KD standing around the 3 point line was doing the Mavs a huge favor.
