b/c if you are, then im liable to actually agree with you on something
they had their core stable of artists, then there was a huge drop off in talent. I dont dispute this, however, P gave them a platform. We can both agree that musically, those people were not as talented, but if you were signed to NL records, your album came out. You didnt sit on a shelf like a lot of artists did on these other labels.
At one point, i would even say everybody got the same amount of exposure up until a certain point that i cant pinpoint. But using Lil Italy as an example, we can both agree his album was trash. I say that having only listened to one song i can remember. A podnuh of mine had it in college. By that time, i think the lights on the tank started to dwindle and they were still just releasing stuff, but with less pub about it.
