No Limit Records Appreciation thread

No Limit's sound was definitely a period piece. Most of the beats haven aged well at all, but that was due to P trying to infuse some southern sounds with West Coast sounds at that time.

There are some tracks that still jam today without the nostalgia boost

no question

i was JUST bumping "be straight with me" the other day, but maybe b/c it still holds up b/c its a sample

also was bumping "mama always told me"

"@ The Same Time"

Obscure track from Slim's "Give It 2'em Raw" album w/ Snoop. I always luv'd how laid back this track was/is. KLC kilt it on some smooth shit.

"Greens, Cornbread and Cabbage"

Another obscure track from Kane and Abel's "Am I My Brothers Keeper" that i used to bump repeatedly. Beat was smooth, but hard @ the same time. KLC did that yet again!
