New job is requiring me to be fully vaccinated

Regardless, most companies dont want to take any chances. What if you have to stop at the office to pick up or drop something off and get covid and become critically ill for a few months ? What if you get it and pass it to a customer and they or their relative gets ill or dies ? That's their ass if you sue, easy payout. Unfortunately there will be people (both employees and customers) like that who are gonna try to take advantage so they can get a payout. By having a mandate and having requirements they can protect themselves legally and that's all it's really about for them.

well at my job, remote means no office access whatsoever

thanks for the hypothetical hooplah

I guess the irony of companies being afraid to get sued cause ā€˜they failed to create a safe work environmentā€™ but Moderna, JnJ, Pfizer BioNtech, hell all vaccine producers arenā€™t legally liable and canā€™t get sued for anything regarding said vaccine is lost to most of yā€™all ā€¦ These are companies that have paid hundreds of millions in court settlements for their previous and currently available products lol.

Just like yā€™all acting like vaccine mandates are normal in a civilized society lol, in many countries - especially western nations - its against the law that an employer can demand its employees to get vaccinated/forced to undergo medical treatment due to the power mechanism between employer /employee, self determination right etc basically itā€™s a human right violationā€¦

so ironically, in Holland for example, an employee could sue the shit out a company that would try to enforce a vaccine mandate lol.

Donā€™t yā€™all think itā€™s weird that many wealthy and modern nations donā€™t have these strange vaccine mandates and are doing a better job at living with the endemic virus / covid? Yā€™all not getting tired of bending over all the time?

lot of fear mongering and misinformation in correlation with outright corruption and mismanagement where yā€™all are at, lol at getting forced to get a Johnson and Johnson vaccine - a company that sold cancer causing baby powder knowingly for decades until they got sued for it - cause your employer is afraid to get sued by other employees while the core reason probably ainā€™t even that theyā€™re afraid to get sued but that they have to close up shop again if your government decides to go full Julius Caesar again and dictate shitā€¦

excuse the rant but folks here in Europe are laughing and looking down at yā€™all for all the mandates , even the shady French with their own shitty mandates are saying ā€˜well atleast itā€™s not like the US or Chinaā€™ lol smh.

Apparently also if you havenā€™t noticed, thereā€™s going to be an automatic surcharge on the medical insurance premiums for those whoā€™re unvaccinated come 2022.

Dang. Lol.

Again we arenā€™t Europe I donā€™t think anybody is forced to take Johnson and Johnson. We have half our country who think this pandemic is not real and a way to control people. And they canā€™t be convinced otherwise

you donā€™t think anyone is being forced yet the thread subjectā€¦

Loads of euro countries arenā€™t better than the states, people think itā€™s a plandemic orchestrated in Brussels ,there are and have been riots, mass protests etc, think itā€™s all part of the great reset etc - the Build Back Better bullshit that the White House is tweeting about - itā€™s just that most laws here make it impossible for governments and companies to make medical procedures mandatory .

I get why businesses across the states demand their employees to get a covid vaccine - cause theyā€™re afraid they wonā€™t survive another lockdown - but we canā€™t be posting naive shit in here like ā€˜theyā€™re doing it to create a safe work environment and donā€™t wanna get sued etcā€™ while ignoring the irony and elephant in the room ā€¦

Long before COVID-19 there have been mandated vaccines so yeah it is actually quite normal and had been for.quite some time
