I don't mind and there isn't fossils, but remains since they still have dna preserved especially in the bone marrow which takes a long time to break down.
The absence of SLC24A5 and SLC45A2, means they don't have light skin. You also have OCA2 for blue eyes as well and it can be absent, but these light skin genes can still be in you and not active like they discover in Ethiopia they had ancient light skin genes, but they weren't active.
