That's a damn lie. It's only recently the NBA game evolved to where all 5 positions on the court actually matter. There were plenty players in the past on NBA teams who were referred to as "self check" because they played a role the league has phased out which is the role of an enforcer.

Up to a certain point. Because the ratings weren't that great either in those late 90s/early 2000s 88-86 playoff games either. Shit people openly talked about how boring the Pistons vs Spurs Finals was to watch. People wanted more offense and the league gave it to them

I don't think it has as much to do with threes or the style of the game at all. Access is an issue. They are talking about ratings, which is a cable/tv scale for measuring viewership. No one i know watches games on cable or TV for the most part. It's all streams and highlights.

I have watched more games since they have been on Prime and Max, though that applies to anything that depends on cable. I can't tell you the last time I've seen a non PPV/PLE wrestling show because they don't live stream them.

Football is still America's game so no one cares about basketball while the NFL season is ongoing. Except me, basketball is the only major sport i care about.

He's not as bad as Trae Young hunting for fouls but he's close but he initiates most of the contact on his drives to the basket then we he feels contact, he acts like he was in the act of shooting and the refs bail him out so when you pick up two quick fouls with him, you can't be aggressive like he is and he just walks into mildly contested shots.
