Kemba in Boston is cool. If Hayward can get back to his Utah form and Tatum keeps progressing that ain’t a bad squad. Idk what they gone do at C though.

If the money is the same idk why anyone would sign to the Celtics.

They misdiagnosed IT and cost him millions and his whole career. Idk how a player trusts them after that.

Plus you gotta live in racist ass, cold ass, snowy ass Boston.

Celtics fans here are cool. But looking at it objectively it makes no sense a top free agent will even consider them.

Respectfully to you...

They didnt misdiagnosed ITs injury. He chose to wait to have surgery.

As I said before Boston is no more race than the next town. It's the internet narrative to claim Boston is the most racist ignoring any other issue other towns have(i.e. westbrooks in Utah)...and all the black players like a randy moss or a kg, etc that been here had no problem.

And if the weather is a factor than I guess the Knicks won't be signing anyone soon as well?

How is it broke?

If they shorten the season that means ticket prices are going to go even higher. That ain't move IMO.
fam, I'm not able to go to the games as it is...this isn't an issue.

And the market will determine the prices. Always been that way. Even Iggy was just on the breakfast club talking about how they've priced out their "real fans"...when you winning, the cost of the brick goes up. When you suck, you can have a front row seat for $100.

The shit ain't about what you can and can't afford and you know that. It's about the overall fan base.

Those $100 tickets are re-sale from fans who already paid full price. Those ain't from the team majority of the time.

Bruh like I said I got no issues with you or any other Celtics fan. And you from where you from so I expect you to defend your city.

Back to topic though, im pretty sure its wildy reported and believed that the Celtics doctors "misdiagnosed" how bad ITs hip injury was and they told him and the media that it couldnt get worse.

A post season run later his hip got much much worse. Very similar to what happened to KD. The difference is how gsw handled the aftermath vs how the celtics did. Gsw had their GM come out and cry and are reportedly ready to give KD the supermax or any other deal.

You can say well IT shoulda never got the max anyway. And I agree. But the way the Celtics handled it was like wow ITs hip is much worse than we thought lets trade him while we can. That whole situation coulda been handled better.

And about the racism, I havent been to every major city but I been to a bunch and by far I got the most looks in Boston. Every city in America got racism, Boston got more than average though.

either way, im not impacted

if the team is winning, consistently, people will go to the games...point blank period

Im not a fan of the idea of shortening the season and a mid season cup but I wouldnt mind seeing how it would play out.

And Adam Silver is a smart dude and will find other ways to make up for the money lost than raising ticket prices.

Mid season tourney will probably come with a bunch of new sponsors and be sold as its own package to tv channels.

Same with the playoff playin tourney.

Plus other shit we aint think of but they will. They got 3 years to figure it out.

my thing is....how many times people complain about how meaningless the first half of the season is. They are competing with football, and if you are in a market that has both, your time will be split, assuming you are fans of both teams.

I like they are trying to get creative. Sure, the mid season tourney might not be a good idea, but i like the idea of the soccer cup system
