I talked about his tendinopathy months ago. I'm fully aware of what's good with his injury, how our medical staff has dealt with it and why I know he isn't going anywhere.
As for why he fell out with San Antonio... a misdiagnosis, failure to come up with a proper treatment plan, then his vets turning on him were enough for him to bounce.
Imagine you telling your niggas you hurt and they turning around to the media saying they had a similar injury 10 times worst (Tony parker), and post game scrums telling other niggas not involved you disappointed with dude (manu).
Danny green addressed this. Said niggas did Kawhi dirty and he understood why Kawhi moved the way he did.

The only thing publicly San Antonio did wrong was when Pop said the Training staff cleared Kawhi but he is still getting 2nd opinions and to ask Kawhi's group if you have questions. Pop should've just said he is injured and will be back when he isn't.
The reason the players approached Kawhi is because there was constantly conflicting reports being put out in the media. Pop even stated in an interview that Kawhi is most likely done for the rest of the season ( video below) at one point but reports from somebody on his side refuted Pop's statements a few day later. The players addressed him after that because of all the confusion and nobody knowing what was going on because he was barely around the team .
Manu never dissed Kawhi and maybe Tony shouldn't have said what he did but it didn't sound like he was chastising him. He pretty much said for Kawhi to stay positive and believe in the training staff because they helped him with a worse injury. Tony's quad ruptured and came off his bone, Kawhi didn't even get surgery and after the regular season said he was 100%.. lmao. The whole timeline is below on the craziness that occurred but people seem to ignore and videos.

Danny Green said In the Breakfast Club interview that people asked him what was going on and that's it.. nobody forced or tried to force Kawhi to come back and even Danny stated that on numerous occasions. I don't blame Kawhi for not coming back if he is injured but you have to let the Training staff know what is going on. Its obvious as hell that San Antonio didn't know what was going on with him and if you look at the actual facts instead of the talk show BS you can see that.

Well Danny is flip flopping because he said on the Breakfast club interview that the players only asked what was up with him because he hadn't been around the team.
I'm happy for Kawhi if he is happy and it's cool to see Toronto win the championship. There is no ill will from me but it's easier to believe the salacious story line over the more mundane one. that most of this was over lack of communication from both sides.

Let's be even more honest about the whole situation that it was rumors Kawhi wanted to leave before the injury stuff was brought up as an excuse by media pundits. If he goes to Los Angeles, (which I hope he doesn't) then everything according to those folks reporting this earlier went according to plan.
I hope that stuff isn't true at all and it wasn't a lame attempt just for him to force his way to Los Angeles but you never know
