if that was his plan and what he set out to do....i would admit it...gladlyNo cop outs. Did his moves force their hand or not?

why does it have to be about concern for his kids?
unlike you and a few others.......if i make a mistake and keep making mistakes....i would like for someone to tell me and/or stop me....not just allow me to fuck myself up.
bruh...his kids had talent....why get in the way? You've colored it that way from the jump to disguise the fact that you just didn't like their father and his moves. You've mentioned "what's best for his kids" throughout your narrative.

So you don't believe that what the Balls did had any impact on the G League now offering top HS prospects 125K contracts in lieu of going to college for a year? Which will begin next year. So there is a chance that Melo ends up in the G League, getting paid, next season.
As far as Melo himself, his game seems to have matured. Less DTM moments from what I've seen.
I dont think their league had anything to do with the NBA G-league offering money to top high school players. It seemed like the most obvious next step for that developmental league. Not to mention Lavar Ball's league did not attract a lot of the high level high school guys like this G-league venture most likely will due to it being connected to the NBA
It offered an alternative. If the league didn't step up then someone with a better business plan was going to succeed where Ball & company failed. You can believe that the timing is just coincidence if you want. It's been the obvious next step to let these kids go straight to the G.

I never said the timing was a coincidence. Lol. It makes sense for the NBA to offer better payment because more NBA teams now own the rights and work with their G-league counter parts. It is actually starting to be ran like a minor league system instead of a goofy side show. It is slowly becoming like the MLB.
When the G-league 1st started not every NBA team had one now damn near every team does and they use it not just to train up players but also coaches and front office folks. Shit, even the league over all is using it to train up young refs. It has truly turned into a real training ground for the whole league, not to mention they are selling tickets for games more.
I liked the idea Mr. Ball had with forming a league for the kids who did not want to go to the NCAA teams but no matter how much money he would have thrown into it he was starting way behind what the NCAA, Europe, and to a lesser extent G-league exspoure given to the players. Signing with a foreign or G-league team playing against former NBA players or players on the cusp of the league would always beat out a start up league because the scouts will and would take the players abilites more serious against better competition.
@DOS_patos out here hating on black men thats "gettin it" and tryin to throw salt on their innovative spirit but i aint tryin to start no trouble
I'm not sure if you think the JBA, or whatever the hell it was called, had an impact or not. Seems like you made two contradictory statements here.
My point was the NBA was building up to the G-league being more viable way before Mr. Ball started the JBA and him starting his venture had nothing to do with them thinking of boosting the pay of players and maybe paying top high school players.
The way i read your quote was you felt his league ambitions helped sway the NBA's plans. Which i believe was not the case
So why don't you believe the timing was a coincidence? I'm confused.
