Goin thru this thread now. SMH @ some of yall sayin yall knew nuthin to alil bout the Atlanta child murders. Whatever tho. I remember hearing about it years ago, n watching a documentary a couple years back. When they said they were gonna monitor the bridges at nite. I remembered they caught dude after they heard a splash. Then his 1st words were "is this bout those dead kids?" FOH, nigga did that shit. Guilty as sin.

My only hope is that he confesses on his death bed. This nightmare can officially be put to rest. Special place in hell for him tho frfr

One genre I wish would get a resurgence is cat and mouse detective vs serial killer type shows/films.
 
imo s2>s1.

S2 is sharper and more focused imo.

S1 they are jus coming up w the concept of "serial killer".

The Atlanta child murders story hurts my soul to this day.

Netflix hasn't officially canceled it tho. Which is good i guess

The show isnt cancelled, it has just been put on an Indefinite hold.

David Fincher the series creator as im sure you know, has a pretty good film career as well and he has some film projects in the works. Until he completes those he has released all the actors from their contracts so that they may find other work while he completes the film projects. Once the stars align, they will reunite and complete season 3. It sucks, but all in all Fincher said he has always planned for 5 Seasons. This just wont be one of those shows where we get a new season every year.

In a way its kind of dope because it will really give them the time to think out and be inspired for each and every season instead of rushing out another season for the following year. Theres just no telling how long we will have to wait for the new seasons.

I can't front...something seems off about that case imo. 30 bodies and he wasn't convicted on NONE of them? Only 2 adults? Just seems like as the murders continued, the police was more concerned about closing the case as fast as they could. Rather than finding the right person.

I wanna hear more from the ATL posters who grew up during that time tho. We're only outsiders.
 
The way Season 2 ended with BTK dressing up as a woman with his little ritual of the women he's killed and getting off on being asphyxiated was disturbing. I mean dude doesn't get caught till 05 so I think if there's a season 3, Jeffrey Dahmer would be the focus

Fincher directed the whole lot? I'm liking the direction its going...

There's been rumors for years or it being a ring in that area I believe it
