It really does seem like people took this more serious than he did because the comment he referred to in the video wasn't anything from high school. People brought that up after the fact when they saw the interview. He was referencing something said recently on the radio show that girl is on. Folks doing this extra deep dive into his psyche when he just made a joke back and kept it pushing through her terrible twitter style questions
