when i got bored with rap around 2006, i stumbled upon Madlib, Dilla & DOOM which changed my ears forever. Salute to the Boondocks episode that played tracks from Madvillainy. Once i heard "dont talk about my moms yo" all i could do is laugh & wonder who the hell is this cat. Before then, i heard Hoe Cakes on the music choice channel & thought that was brilliant as well. True 1 of 1. Glad i was able to hear & appreciate greatness

I watched a video from HHDX I think, that went through Doom's career. Didn't realize he started rapping so early and that his brother died when they were in their 20's.

Ironically enough , his brother's death is what gave us DOOM

Damn Bishop said he wrote up 10 things in high school that he wanted to do in life. One of those things was working with Mf Doom. Guess what Mf Doom and him did an album together many years later. Crazy!
