IIght, niggas say this until they get placed in a box based off they own logic. Only White english speaking countries do this. In Brazil and most of latin america, they got a whole diff system in terms of racial categories. Niggas think its sweet til the "de facto black look" is Doja Cat/ Drake. Hollywood already doing it, ill let yall niggas do it then complain later lmaooooo

I truly don't think I have heard this coming from the mouths of black men. It's usually chicks talking about "black woman erasure"--which, make no mistake, IS a valid concern. Like how Hollywood seems to promote biracial women to play all "black woman" roles, even portraying historical women who were not light-skinned inn real life (Harriet Tubman, Nina Simone, etc). Or even in mainstream porn where over the last few years, practically all of the "Ebony" girls are now biracial.

But are men REALLY out here worrying that they're about to "replaced" by Stef Curry? REALLY? Nigga, we still out here making "acting light-skinned" jokes and you are actually scared that light-skinned black men are going to become the prototype?

Please don't bring Latin America into it. Their racial categorizations are designed to obliterate blackness when possible. They actually have a reverse one-drop rule in Latin America. Where in the US, one drop of negro blood makes you black. In other countries, one drop of non-negro blood makes you "NOT black".... Hence relegating full black people to the bottom of the pyramid, and encouraging a culture where the dream of every black person is to "whiten" their bloodline. But Brazil in particular has over the past two decades started turning towards a more "US-style one drop"-adjacent model (for better or worse).
