Only thing that can save the MCU, is Spider-Man, the X-men and F4 and you niggas KNOW IT.

They're pushing this empowerment/female heroine thing too far.

Nothing wrong with it per se, but it's not gonna go over well if people think some kind of agenda is being pushed on them.

I'm not necessarily predicting a flop, but I don't think the movie will turn a profit.

Basically, they probably spent more money on it than it will make.

That line of thinking in itself is the problem. Like a studio can't make a movie with strong female protags without goofy dudes saying they are pushing an agenda. There are plenty of team-up movies that have been majority male. Marvel should be able to have a team-up movie between heroines without having it being pushed of just being some "female empowerment shit."

That's exactly what it is though.

I could understand a D.C. movie with Wonder Woman and all the Amazons from her homeland doing something together.

That would be realistic to that superhero.

Now, I haven't read comics since the 80's, but I don't recall anything like this being a part of the Marvel canon or whatever you wanna call it.

Nobody wants to see a movie when they know some kind of agenda is being pushed on them.

Then you should probably not be speaking so confidently on something you're 4 decades removed from

Have you not been paying attention to the MCU stuff either because all the connections have been firmly established? Monica is the daughter of Carol's best friend. She looked up to Carol when she was younger and felt betrayed because Carol wasn't around when her mother was dying/died. That was established in Ms. Marvel and WandaVision. Kamala idolizes Carol. Carol is basically the whole reason Kamala even aspired to become a superhero. So explain how they are pushing an agenda by having a movie featuring two characters that have an established relationship and history and a third character whose relevance is almost completely due to one of those other characters.

lol You making it seem like they just put out a movie with Nkoye, Black widow's sister, and Valkyrie and called it the Bad Bitches.

Interesting wordplay, but......then again.......that's the same bullshit you do all the time.

Making some slick comment, but not saying I'm wrong about anything I said.

Nobody wants to see that shit.

Even women aren't gonna be checking for it.

You're wrong as you always are. This time you're just also nearly 40 years removed from any source material for what you're wrong about.
