None of those were really made by Marvel though. I mean I'm sure they had some say, but for better or worse, those movies were made by other studios who had full creative control.
On average, Marvel has done a better job with the properties than the other studios did. There are, of course, exceptions like the first Blade movie and some of the Spiderman movies.
