This was the best GotG movie. I loved the focus on Rocket. Shit tugged at my heart strings in a few spots. Really enjoyed it.
I think if it weren’t for the greatness of Marvel overall people would definitely be talking about this trilogy as one of the top trilogies ever.

Hasn't Gunn had complete control over all the films?
I think he means from the standpoint that it's not connected to the larger MCU
Idk even the post-credit scene had nothing to do with the larger picture....just a new iteration of the Guardians and we have no indication whether we'll get another film
ATSV just surpassed them in the box office (domestically) but there's no shame in that.
Isn't Adam Warlock pose to be a big player moving forward?
